This session will explore key ideas about making your technical service more effective, we will explore tips and techniques for requisitions, storage, security, systems and procedures to help you improve your technical service and help support practical work in your schools.
A chance to look at & try out some ways to adapt practical equipment and resources for students with different SEND. Some of these can also be beneficial to all learners. A short presentation followed by an opportunity to have a go. Learn some science BSL, try using equipment with vision impairment glasses, and much more.

As we explore the practicals, equipment and demonstrations, we will discuss where to source the equipment, top tips on getting things working and develop a range of simple practical ideas you can bring back to your departments to engage students with.
