ASE Northern Conference 2024

We are delighted to share the new science curriculum from Oak National Academy, developed by the Centre for Industry Education Collaboration (CIEC) and University of York Science Education Group (UYSEG). Oak’s new science curriculum covers the national curriculum with a full set of lessons developed from research evidence by experienced teachers and experts at the University of York. Teachers can access adaptable, sequenced resources that provide high-quality starting points for planning lessons to target common misconceptions and enhance pupils’ substantive and disciplinary knowledge, vocabulary, practical skills, mathematical proficiencies and understanding of scientific practices, whilst embracing diversity as a fundamental principle.
